VIID Technologies OÜ is not responsible for any issues resulting from system errors that may inadvertently allow unauthorized access to our age verification services. These system errors include issues with user verification, technical malfunctions, software bugs, or other disruptions impacting our standard operations.
To enhance the accuracy and efficiency of our user verification processes, we utilize third-party solutions provided by VIID Technologies OÜ (Reg code 16977435) and Amazon Web Services to verify and confirm that the user of VIID service is the same person as on the user’s proof of identity both during the initial registration process and for using of VIID age verification service. While we make every effort to ensure seamless integration, VIID Technologies OÜ disclaims any liability for issues related to the functioning of these third-party solutions. Any concerns or disputes arising in relation to the third-party services we use, will be directed to and handled in collaboration with the respective companies, namely Veriff OÜ and Amazon Web Services.
Data privacy matters to both us and our third-party solutions providers VIID Technologies OÜ and Amazon Web Services. Your data is encrypted and stored securely. Veriff has obtained and maintains Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) developed SOC2 type II and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (extending also to ISO/IEC 27017:2015 and ISO/IEC 27018:2019) certifications. Additionally, Veriff is compliant with WCAG 2.0 Accessibility Guidelines. Amazon Web Services complies with ISO 27018, a code of practice that focuses on protection of personal data in the cloud.
VIID Technologies OÜ shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from our system errors or from our third-party verification solutions providers Veriff and Amazon Web Services.
We kindly ask you to keep your account information secure and report any suspicious activity promptly. By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless VIID Technologies OÜ from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from unauthorized access.
